Job summary

WWM Design in Singapore is seeking a Structural Engineer / Senior Structural Engineer to lead multidisciplinary teams through concept to detailed design on complex projects. You will apply advanced design and analysis skills, develop parametric models, and perform FEA to ensure robust performance.

With 5–6 years of experience, you will review drawings, ensure compliance with local standards (LTA, BCA, NParks), and mentor junior staff while collaborating with architectural and engineering teams

Qualifications

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognised institution.
5–6 years of professional experience in infrastructure and structural design.
Familiarity with local Singapore authority requirements (LTA, PUB, BCA, NParks, etc.).

Responsibilities

Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams delivering engineering design projects on time and to high quality.
Provide advanced design, analysis and innovative problem-solving for complex projects.
Develop and implement parametric models and algorithms using coding skills (e.g., Python, Grasshopper, Dynamo) to optimise design processes.
Perform and validate detailed Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess structural performance under various load cases using ETABS/SAP2000/Safe.
Prepare and review detailed construction drawings, specifications and calculations for submissions to authorities or international projects.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards; review designs and technical specifications.
Mentor junior engineers and staff, offering technical guidance and support for professional development.
