Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related science or engineering field with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level V&V strategies across programs and platforms.
• Translate customer needs and risks into measurable acceptance criteria and test approaches.
• Design and guide studies evaluating system performance, reliability, and end-to-end workflow performance.
• Provide independent, evidence-based assessments of product readiness and residual risk.
• Evaluate interactions across instruments, software, consumables, reagents, assays, and data workflows under representative conditions.
• Develop use cases and challenge conditions to assess system performance and robustness.
• Characterize sources of variability and determine their impact on overall performance.
• Collaborate with Systems and R&D teams to identify requirements gaps, risks, and testability limitations.
• Lead investigations of complex system-level issues and apply DOE and statistical methods to identify failure mechanisms.
• Create reusable V&V methods, datasets, and best practices applicable across programs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in related science or engineering (minimum 8 years experience)

Advanced degree with at least 6 years experience in related fields
