Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Triage patients and prioritise care based on physical, psychological, and social assessments.
• Conduct focused assessments of presenting complaints, medical history, and medications in accordance with established triage protocols.
• Deliver safe, high-quality, and patient-centred nursing care while ensuring patient comfort and well-being.
• Monitor patients' conditions, document clinical assessments, and evaluate changes in health status.
• Support clinicians during examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatment interventions.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions when patient conditions deteriorate or when monitoring systems indicate adverse findings.
• Assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency procedures in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Communicate care plans, treatment progress, and relevant updates to patients and their family members where appropriate.
• Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and continuity of care with internal departments and external healthcare providers.
• Accompany critically ill patients during inter-hospital transfers when required.
