Job description

Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the overall clinical practice setting and standard of care for patients in the Neurology/neurosurgery department. You will work closely with all grades of nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to provide optimal care and achieve the best outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as a clinical resource person to nursing staff in the management of patients.
  2. Manage a practice caseload in Neuroscience.
  3. Adopt evidence-based clinical practices and teaching programs for nursing staff.
  4. Provide resources and comprehensive patient education programs to patients, families, and the public.
  5. Cross-train and be deployed to provide nursing care in the Endovascular Centre.
  6. Perform rotating shifts and on-call duties as required.
Requirements
  • Recognized General Nursing qualification and registration with the Singapore Nursing Board.
  • Degree in Nursing or Advanced Diploma in Nursing, or its equivalent in Neurosciences specialty (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
