An established healthcare institution is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing radiological procedures. You are responsible for providing specialised direct and indirect nursing care and patient education through management, coordination and evaluation of care activities for patients undergoing radiological procedures. To provide guidance and direction to staff nurses and below, in order to provide optimal care to meet desired patient outcomes and experiences
Job Description:
Perform objective assessment, evaluation and documentation of patients’ condition
Perform complex procedures, both non-invasive and invasive within the scope of duties
Ensure the safe delivery of patient pre-operatively from reception / recovery to the procedures and vice versa
Prepare patients for Nuclear Medicine imaging such as screening patient, setting IV cannula and preparing IV medication etc.
Ensure and maintain principles of sterility and asepsis procedures and techniques when assisting procedures
Job Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in Nursing
Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board
Preferably 2 years of working experience in procedural area
Required to perform on-call duties
