Job summary

Mount Alvernia Hospital in Singapore is seeking a nursing professional to join the Endoscopy Centre. You will work with nursing leaders to deliver patient-centred, compassionate care during procedures and examinations.

Key responsibilities include assisting doctors during endoscopy and anaesthesia, ensuring proper documentation, and promoting efficient turnover of procedures. Strong teamwork, initiative, and nursing qualifications with an SNB license are required; endoscopy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Possess either a Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license.
• Prior experience in endoscopy procedures will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that endoscopy and operating room techniques are performed in the assigned area.
• Assist doctors during endoscopy and anaesthesia procedures and patient examinations; ensure proper documentation.
• Support efficient turnover of both elective and emergency procedures in the assigned procedure or operating room.
• Provide safe patient care within the designated area.
• Ensure collect billing.
• Participate in reviewing nursing protocols, policies and procedures for continuous improvement.

Who We Need

You will work alongside the Nursing Leaders to deliver patient-centred and compassionate nursing care to our patients in the Endoscopy Centre.

Your key responsibilities are:

• Ensure that proper endoscopy and operating room techniques are performed in the assigned area.
• Assist doctor(s) during endoscopy/ anaesthesia procedures and patient examinations. Ensure that appropriate documentation is done.
• Support efficient turnover of both elective and emergency procedures/operations in the assigned procedure or operating room.
• Provide safe patient care within her designated area.
• Ensure collect billing.
• Participate in the review nursing protocols, policies and procedures for continuous improvement.

How to Succeed

• Strong team-player, self-starter with strong sense of initiative, agility and perseverance in starting and building a strong culture in performance & engagement.
• Able to commit to 5.5 days work week (Saturday half day) and work on-call duties when required.
• Possess either a Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license.
