Job summary

es recruitment pte. ltd. is seeking an Automation & Site Reliability Engineer (3 openings) for a banking technology team in Singapore.

You will design and maintain automation solutions using Selenium/Playwright with Python/Java/TypeScript, build automation frameworks and ELK dashboards, and apply SRE practices to improve reliability. The role focuses on automation development, monitoring/observability and production support, with on-site work at Changi Business Park and a 6‑month contract

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on professional experience with Selenium and/or Playwright.
• Strong programming/scripting experience using Python, Java, TypeScript or other relevant automation technologies.
• Experience building, enhancing or maintaining automation frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience developing ELK dashboards for monitoring and observability.
• Hands‑on experience with OAPM/OPAM or similar APM, observability tools.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience in SRE, production support or application operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting and incident management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and learning agility.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop and maintain automation solutions using Python, Java, TypeScript or relevant scripting technologies.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium and/or Playwright.

• Create and maintain ELK dashboards for application monitoring, operational visibility and troubleshooting.
• Work with OAPM/OPAM or similar observability and monitoring platforms to monitor application and system performance.
• Develop automation solutions that reduce manual operational intervention and improve service efficiency.
• Support production environments through monitoring, troubleshooting, incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to improve system availability, resilience and operational stability.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application and operations teams to improve service delivery and operational excellence.
• Document automation frameworks, technical solutions, dashboards and operational procedures.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on professional experience with Selenium and/or Playwright.
• Strong programming/scripting experience using Python, Java, TypeScript or other relevant automation technologies.
• Experience building, enhancing or maintaining automation frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience developing ELK dashboards for monitoring, reporting or operational visibility.
• Hands‑on experience with OAPM/OPAM or similar Application Performance Monitoring (APM), observability, or monitoring tools.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience in SRE, production support or application operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting and incident management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to quickly learn new automation and monitoring technologies.

Good‑to‑Have

• Experience with Power Automate or RPA workflow automation.
• Agile delivery experience using Jira and/or Confluence.
• API testing experience using Postman, Karate or similar tools.
• Performance testing experience using JMeter, LoadRunner or similar tools.
• Experience working in banking, financial services, public sector or large enterprise environments.
