Job summary

Motional AD Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (SRE Focus) to join the Engineering Enablement team in Singapore.

You will build and evolve internal platforms, services, and toolchains that power engineering workflows across Motional, driving reliability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructure platforms for internal customers. Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent knowledge and work experience.
5+ years in SRE, DevOps related roles.
Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
CI/CD tooling experience (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong programming background (Python, Go, C++).
Experience with software development lifecycle and turning ambiguous goals into software requirements.
Strong communication and collaboration in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Build scalable backend services, CI/CD pipelines, build systems, toolchains, and platforms supporting developer workflows.
Improve system reliability, performance, scalability, and observability across distributed systems.
Analyze and optimize AWS spend; implement cost-effective strategies and efficiency improvements in cloud infrastructure.
Monitor system performance and health; proactively resolve issues before impact.
Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical roadmaps.
