Job summary

ResMed in Singapore is seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance professional to collaborate across ResMed and suppliers, ensuring quality, delivery and cost targets are met. You will apply risk-based methods, drive improvements, and monitor supplier performance with data analytics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience managing external suppliers.
• High-bay or ASRS warehouses and third-party logistics management.
• Quality risk assessment in warehouse activities.
• Problem solving methods & tools and quality process knowledge, including statistics (A3, 8D, DMAIC).
• Strong negotiation skills, communication skills, influential leadership & business acumen.
• Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel proficient.
• Oracle business information system.

Responsibilities

• Ensure thorough knowledge of ResMed's Quality system to work within established policies and procedures.
• Operate autonomously whilst interacting with team members and other areas to ensure supplier meets quality requirements.
• Apply a risk-based approach in improving ResMed processes while maintaining quality compliance.
• Monitor supplier quality performance metrics and trends, escalate signals to leaders.
• Initiate programs to improve supplier performance and reduce cost of poor quality using data analytics.
• Communicate issues affecting supplier quality and delivery to stakeholders.
• Educate and support suppliers in quality prevention tools to ensure defect-free products.
• Drive continuous improvement at suppliers including quality cycle and delivery performance via standard metrics.
• Drive supplier and sub-supplier performance through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain lessons learned to share best practices.
• Work within a Project Team environment and perform other tasks to help meet goals.
