Job summary

PACIFIC MEDICAL RECRUITMENT & CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. is assisting a well-established community healthcare provider in Singapore to recruit a Senior Speech Therapist for both full-time and part-time positions.

You will deliver speech, language and dysphagia management across nursing facilities, day rehab, and home care settings. The role emphasizes autonomous practice, mentorship, and opportunities to contribute to pilot projects within community care, with flexible schedules including part-time

Qualifications

• Possess a recognized Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Full Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
• Solid clinical grounding in adult dysphagia management and acquired neurogenic communication disorders.
• Highly empathetic, patient, adaptable, and resourceful when solving clinical challenges.
• Proven ability to work autonomously across varied home environments and community setting layouts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients presenting with swallowing impairments or communication conditions (e.g., aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia).
• Design and deliver client-centered care plans tailored to daily needs and caregiver capacity.
• Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and specify dietary modifications to mitigate aspiration risks.
• Educate family members, domestic helpers, and care partners on targeted communication strategies and safe mealtime management.
• Coordinate with physicians, nursing teams, and allied health peers to deliver holistic care.
• Ensure accurate documentation for progress tracking and regulatory requirements.
• Create training modules and learning sessions to upskill colleagues and care partners.
• Participate in service improvement initiatives and quality assurance projects.
