Senior Speech Therapist
Job description
Job Responsibilities:
- Mentor and supervise therapists and support staff for professional development and day-to-day operations.
- Plan manpower allocation for the therapy team.
- Identify safety risks and issues, recommending preventive and corrective care measures.
- Oversee inventory management and equipment maintenance required for therapy services.
- Participate in the development and promotion of new clinical services in therapy.
- Manage client feedback.
- Oversee the maintenance of client records and documentation.
- Assist in leading research and/or quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct service and clinical audits, reviewing audit findings at the team level.
- Participate or lead in organizational projects, including external partner collaborations/research projects as required.
- Conduct in-house training for staff, caregivers, and volunteers.
- Engage in continuing education to further skills and knowledge in the field of practice.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Speech Therapy and registered with AHPC.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Speech Therapist.
- Dynamic and proactive personality with good public relations and communication skills.
- Possess good management, excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills.
