Senior Speech Therapist

Job Responsibilities:

• Mentor and supervise therapists and support staff for professional development and day-to-day operations.
• Plan manpower allocation for the therapy team.
• Identify safety risks and issues, recommending preventive and corrective care measures.
• Oversee inventory management and equipment maintenance required for therapy services.
• Participate in the development and promotion of new clinical services in therapy.
• Manage client feedback.
• Oversee the maintenance of client records and documentation.
• Assist in leading research and/or quality improvement initiatives.
• Conduct service and clinical audits, reviewing audit findings at the team level.
• Participate or lead in organizational projects, including external partner collaborations/research projects as required.
• Conduct in-house training for staff, caregivers, and volunteers.
• Engage in continuing education to further skills and knowledge in the field of practice.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Speech Therapy and registered with AHPC.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Speech Therapist.
• Dynamic and proactive personality with good public relations and communication skills.
• Possess good management, excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills.
