Job summary

Worq AI is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Therapist in Singapore to assess and treat clients with dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders. You will plan person-centered therapy, conduct bedside swallow screenings, and empower families with feeding strategies in home and community settings.

Responsibilities include collaborating with medical teams, documenting records, and contributing to quality improvement and research. AHPC registration is required.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical knowledge in adult dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders.
• High empathy, patience, adaptable and resourceful.
• Ability to work independently in various home environments and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop person-centered therapy plans aligned with lifestyle and caregiver capacity.
• Perform bedside swallow screenings and recommend textures/fluids.
• Train family members and care partners on communication strategies and safe feeding.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals for holistic care.
• Document clinical records and provide reports for functional status reviews or funding requirements.
• Develop training materials and conduct staff training for therapists and support staff.
• Support quality improvement and research projects.
