Position Summary:

As a Senior Specialist RMU Quotation (Avionics), you will be in-charge of preparing proposal for all Retrofit, Modification and Upgrades (RMU) opportunities. You will be responsible not only of the probing phase, to determine customer’s expectations, but also of the scoping phase, to translate client’s need into a detailed technical scope of work. As a Senior Specialist RMU Quotation, you will coordinate costing efforts as well as develop pricing and draft proposals. Sales support to Sales Team will extend to ensuring internal and external approval gathering, addressing technical questions, pricing strategy discussions, revisions of proposals and transfer to execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical scope of work in collaboration with the Global Sales Directors and the customer, through probing phase and determination of customer’s expectation
  • Liaise with Jet Aviation engineering for engineering solution or perform research for 3rd party engineering solution, at the same time, ensuring regulatory approvals are met per customer’s NAA
  • Liaise with procurement and at times liaise directly with vendors on parts/kits pricing and availability
  • Liaise with P145 to gather labor hours, production lead-time and project downtime
  • Develop pricing and draft proposals including commercial and technical write-up
  • Ensure all quotations are carried out within established procedures prior torelease of quotation to Global Sales Directors
  • Collaborate with Sales Director to facilitate contract closure with customers.
  • Provide technical support to Global Sales department during customer’s meeting
  • Establish and maintain positive business relationships with customers, attend to their queries expediently.
  • Update Sales CRM system timely and accurately.
  • Launching of Won quotations and initiate invoice in a prompt manner.
  • Proper handover of won quotations toProject Preparation / PMO/Billing team.
  • Attend internal meetings and participate in Customer pre-input meetings as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Software Skills:

  • Expertise on Microsoft office (Word, excel, ppt, viso, outlook)
  • Proficiency in Salesforce
  • Proficiency in SAP

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum. Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical or Engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years aviation experience in an equivalent role (e.g. Request For Proposal manager, Engineering or Sales Project Manager).
  • Strong acquaintance with avionics (cockpit and cabin) and electronic embedded systems in use in the Business or Commercial Aviation Industry
  • Solid understanding of the aerospace industry specialized in avionics, OEMs (IFE and miscellaneous electronic embedded systems suppliers), MROs, and the regulatory framework
  • Strong track-record in Sales and/or Quotation experience
  • Experiences in production and/or project Management would constitute a strong advantage
  • Knowledge in interior refurbishment would be a plus
