About the Role

The Senior Specialist, Hotel Port Operations will oversee the Disney Cruise Line Logistics team to support all transportation, consolidation, and logistics servicing operational ship. This position will partner with the local Walt Disney World Procurement Services, 3PL & Logistics Vendor, and all Disney Cruise Line operating areas, the position will be part of the logistics planning team with primary function for coordination and movement of information and product from origin to destination. The position has expected travel onboard the Disney Adventure, maintaining Location Operation Guidelines (LOGs), auditing onboard operations, corroborating Local Health & Sanitation Requirements, and Coast Guard compliance and ensuring consistency, standardization, and stability.

This role is a 1 year contract role based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Provision scheduling, setup, and communication to internal and external clients
  • Quarterly performance reviews for all dedicated provision providers
  • Discovery and research of potential new port itineraries
  • Partner with Supply Chain Logistics, Trade Compliance, as well as external partners to ensure the seamless coordination
  • Partner with DCL Sourcing Specialists to ensure PO data accuracy while collaborating with Expeditors to track standard shipping and facilitate expedited requests
  • Identify opportunities and offer recommendations for process improvements
  • Participate in cross-training initiatives for on-board hotel stores operations
  • Assess shipboard teams are knowledgeable and complying with Location Operation Guidelines (LOGs) and SMS policies and procedures.
  • Manage Coupe Ordering Systems & Receipt for 3rd party F&B vendors.
  • Support Shipboard team in preparation and execution of new itineraries, Guest, and Crew events.
  • Schedule staff meetings with the Managers of Hotel Stores Managers.
  • Maintain accuracy and effectiveness of training.
  • New implementation of systems for inventory management within the fleet.
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by Manager Hotel Port Operation.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in the cruise line industry or back-of-house food and beverage operations
  • Operational excellence with existing cruise line’s and provisions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to change
  • Proficient computer skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and various databases
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and good organizational skills

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
