Job Description

The Position

The overarching goal of compliance operations is to enable a culture of ethics and compliance across the enterprise by supporting compliance with legal, regulatory and policy requirements, remaining abreast of emerging trends and evolving our compliance operations.

The Sr. Specialist, Global Compliance Operations will report to Director, Compliance Operations and be a key member of the Global Compliance Operations team. This experienced professional will provide compliance operations support and guidance to various stakeholders and business teams to facilitate compliance with laws, regulatory requirement and internal policies and procedures. This experienced professional will support cross-functional projects Pulse tool and Compliance Monitoring Program.

Responsibilities:

Support Pulse program

  • Enhanced data analytics skills; abilities to navigate through big data; connect the dots from different data sets; build data visualizations for easy identification of patterns, trends, outliers in a large data set; abilities to interpret the results; drive meaningful conclusions; provide valuable recommendations to the business leaders across functions with the aim to protect the company and its effective compliance monitoring program. (Power BI, etc.)

  • Strong healthcare compliance knowledge – understanding the risks, elaborating the impact of identified patterns, trends, outliers; abilities to recommend valuable enhancements and support timely remediation.

  • Partner with BT organization and business leaders across the local markets and process owners.

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

  • Master’s or comparable degree in relevant field, preferably in law, risk management or corporate compliance

  • Compliance Certifications (Licensed Professional in Ethics) are preferred.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years LS Pharma Experience in a Compliance Function

  • 5+ years understanding of Commercial Pharma Data landscape

  • Highly skilled in coding and data science; R, Python, SQL, PowerBI

  • Ability to work with due diligence systems (such as Aravo, Power apps, etc.)

  • Ability to review legal, regulatory and compliance documentation

  • Strong understanding of global compliance laws and regulations, including Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), US Anti-Kickback Statute and US Federal and State transparency reporting requirements.

  • Ability to work in global team structure - understanding local market regulatory standards

  • Work in team-based facet - collaborating with audit, compliance, investigations, legal, and business

  • Comfort speaking, reporting and presenting to Global & Csuite level execs

  • Clear, effective communication style and interpersonal skills.

  • Effective listening, judgment, problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.

  • Demonstrated ethical mindset and integrity; ability exercise sound judgment and to demonstrate courage and candor.
