Job description

Nasdaq is seeking experienced Senior Specialist Cloud Engineers to join our multi-disciplinary team in Bangalore, India, supporting the delivery, integration, and support of complex and distributed high availability solutions to financial institutions and organizations worldwide.

This is an opportunity to join the FINTECH division of Nasdaq and work with innovative technologies in an international environment, serving high-profile financial clients. We seek candidates with strong cloud and containerization skills, a desire to learn, and a commitment to delivering top technology solutions.

Responsibilities

1. Design, build, deploy, and support cloud solutions.
2. Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, resolve issues, and document solutions.
3. Educate teams on new cloud initiatives and provide training.
4. Ensure application performance, resilience, and scalability.
5. Manage cloud strategies and environments in line with security guidelines.
6. Support Nasdaq engineering and operations teams, maintaining infrastructure and responding to downtime.
7. Develop and maintain team knowledge base articles and FAQs.
8. Participate in solution design and prioritization with teammates.
9. Follow Nasdaq policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• 12+ years of overall experience in IT.
• 5+ years of experience designing and supporting cloud solutions on AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, EBS, IAM).
• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes and container deployment.
• Experience with cloud tools such as Terraform, Helm, kubectl.
• Experience with DevOps tools including CI/CD pipelines, GIT, Jenkins.
• Proficiency in Java and Linux.
• Experience working in agile teams (Scrum or Kanban).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Good to Have Skills

• Proficiency in additional cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
• Experience in the financial domain, especially in securities or derivatives.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and virtualization.
• Knowledge of Open Telemetry and Observability.
• International work experience in finance.
