Job description

The Senior Solutions Integration Architect will lead the design, development, and integration of digital diagnostics systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance. This role involves working with multi-disciplinary teams, including project managers, solution architects, health systems, and companies, to drive the adoption and scaling of innovative digital health solutions. The architect will also be responsible for planning and developing workflow and technical interfaces between healthcare IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead digital health adoption and scaling projects across multiple parties (start-ups, innovators, hospital systems, and A*STAR).
  • Design end-to-end architecture for digital diagnostic software systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and architecture designs.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software development and systems engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Plan, design integration between new and in-development digital health solutions.
  • Understand stakeholder priorities and dynamics; provide periodic project progress updates.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to enhance system performance and developer productivity.
  • Ensure that all architectural designs comply with security and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct system performance evaluations and recommend enhancements to meet business goals.
  • Document architecture designs, including diagrams and specifications, for future reference and team knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experienced as a Solution Architect or similar role with a focus on large-scale digital health systems.
  • 10+ years of experience deploying software solutions in Singapore PHIs.
  • Knowledge in ISO 13485 / 62304 Standards.
  • Good understanding of applicable medical device regulations, cyber security requirements, and integration and workflow requirements.
  • 10+ years of healthcare digital solutions deployment experience.
  • Proficient in HCIT interoperability and integration standards (e.g., DICOM, HL7, FHIR).
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure, with experience in designing scalable, resilient architectures.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding software development and systems engineering teams.
  • Experience with the design and implementation of complex data architectures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of privacy standards (e.g., PDPA, HIPAA) and requirements
