Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners (CGP Group) is assisting a fast-growing public cloud solutions provider in hiring a Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Architect. The role bridges sales, customers, and delivery teams on technical strategy and is hands-on across the full cloud lifecycle.

You will own solution design for strategic accounts, build scalable AWS and multi-cloud architectures, and lead migration projects for large enterprises, acting as a trusted advisor to customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Inceases 7+ years in IT infrastructure or cloud computing.
• 3+ years hands-on with AWS or another major cloud platform.
• Experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting large-scale AWS environments.
• Independent migration expertise across analysis, architecture, design and planning.
• Proficiency with IaC tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Own technical solution design from first customer conversation through migration execution.
• Design and optimize secure, scalable AWS and multi-cloud architectures.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization projects for large-scale enterprise environments.
• Advise customers directly on adoption, migration, and operations.
• Drive investigation and resolution of major incidents in complex cloud environments.
• Deliver technical guidance to sales, product, and operations on strategic opportunities.
• Run requirement analysis, architecture design, and migration planning independently.

Role & Responsibilities

Independently own solution design from first customer conversation through migration execution. You'll work directly on strategic accounts and complex enterprise deals, acting as trusted advisor and hands-on architect across the full cloud lifecycle.

• Own technical solution design for strategic accounts, partnering with sales to shape and present proposals
• Design and optimize secure, scalable AWS and multi-cloud architectures
• Lead cloud migration and modernization projects for large-scale enterprise environments
• Advise customers directly on technical challenges across adoption, migration, and operations
• Drive investigation and resolution of major incidents in complex cloud environments

Requirements

• Min 7 years in IT infrastructure or cloud computing, including 3+ years hands-on with AWS or another major cloud platform
• Strong AWS architecture knowledge: VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, load balancing, databases, networking, security
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting large-scale AWS environments
• Independent migration expertise — analysis, architecture design, solutioning, and planning
• Experience with IaC tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, or equivalent)

Bonus

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional, SAA, or other advanced certifications
• Enterprise-scale, multi-region, or multi-cloud architecture experience
• Track record leading customer workshops, presentations, or PoCs
• Mandarin proficiency for Greater China client and partner communication
