Senior Solution Architect - Enterprise Application

You will be part of our Enterprise Architect Team to drive the enterprise business application modernization.

Job Responsibilities

1. Work in close collaboration with IT & business project teams to improve the architecture and security design of legacy applications.
2. Provide application architecture guidelines, patterns, and best practices for architecting banking internal and customer-facing applications.
3. Play the technical lead role to drive the detailed technical design, development and deployment, operation of new applications.
4. Provide guidance to developers and engineers on complex implementation and coding issues.
5. Establish and maintain the technology governance framework, drive IT policies, standards, and guideline adoption.
6. Effectively collaborate with different stakeholders in the organization to drive & support the digital transformation.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 15 years of FI industry experience, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership role and a proven track record of implementing transformation projects.
2. Proven track record in the modernization of complex enterprise applications.
3. Experience in the design and implementation of micro-service architecture for mission-critical systems.
4. Strong experience using Java and .NET to design and develop multi-tier application architecture.
5. Strong knowledge and development experience using Oracle and MS-SQL databases.
6. Strong knowledge in IBM middleware tools, such as MQ, IIB, IWA, Instana, etc.
7. Knowledge in Microsoft Azure cloud services, such as Azure APIM, Functions, Logic App, SQL database, etc., will be a plus.
8. Experience in development and support of the customer-facing bank portal.
9. Experience and knowledge of Financial Industry Risks & Compliance or Management & Controls.
10. Strong knowledge in security standards and practices, experience in designing solutions to meet security requirements.
11. Experience in establishing the enterprise IT governance framework, processes, and guidelines.
12. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
13. Work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.
14. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
