Job summary

Virtusa seeks a seasoned architect to drive solution design across business teams and product owners, ensuring alignment from architecture to delivery. You will guide engineers, review code, and improve quality using cloud-native and Agile practices, including TDD and CI/CD in a fast-paced environment.

Required are 7+ years in application development and design, with strong skills in .Net, Java, React.js, Node.js, MySQL and MongoDB.

Qualifications

• Good Bachelor or Master degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience in application development and design.
• Strong knowledge of solution architectures and integration patterns.
• Ability to design and develop large scale applications to solve complex business problems.
• Proficient in .Net, Java, React.js, Node.js, MySQL and MongoDB.
• Familiar with multi-paradigm programming languages and Agile Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Work with business teams and product owners to ideate Solution Architecture and Design.
• Govern implementation to align the proposed solution and design.
• Support development teams by providing guidance and solving technical problems, including code review.
• Improve software quality using cloud-native and Agile development practices such as TDD and automated CI/CD.
• Assist QA on test automation and identify technical pitfalls and challenges.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, security and other teams to set up CI/CD pipelines and integrations.
• Experiment and create prototypes for exploratory works.
