Job summary

JTC is seeking a C&S engineer to drive solar initiatives across rooftop and land-based installations. You will lead planning, identification, assessment and implementation of solar projects, while supporting building development projects and collaboration with internal design teams.

Ideal candidates have a Civil & Structural Engineering background with at least 5 years of relevant experience, a passion for sustainable energy, and strong project management skills.

Qualifications

• Background in Civil & Structural Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated passion for advancing sustainable energy solutions and solar technology.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify suitable land and rooftop spaces for solar deployment across JTC's industrial estates and developments.
• Conduct site and structural assessments and feasibility studies to determine solar installation viability and capacity.
• Manage tender processes for solar projects, from preparation of tender documents to contractor selection.
• Project manage solar installations from conception to completion, coordinating with internal teams and external contractors, including managing solar contracts and handling contractual issues.
• Evaluate business viability of solar projects, including cost-benefit analysis and ROI assessments.
• Drive innovation in solar technology adoption and explore emerging sustainable energy solutions.
• Support building development projects through design reviews, gathering user requirements, and developing concept designs.
• Collaborate with internal design teams for building design management to ensure successful project implementation.
