Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Woodlands is seeking a skilled machine vision software developer. You'll develop and maintain machine vision and GUI applications, as well as design algorithms for quality inspection. The ideal candidate has a master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering and experience in Windows applications development using C#. Competitive salary of $4,000 - $6,300 offered.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years experience in vision and developing Windows applications.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, RS-232, and camera interface protocols.
• Knowledge in MODBUS and industrial protocols is a plus.

Job description

Location: Woodlands Ave (Nearest mrt: Admiralty) | Salary Range: $4,000 - $6,300 | Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm (Mon-Fri)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom machine vision and GUI applications.
• Design machine vision algorithms for product quality inspection, process control, and manufacturing automation.
• Knowledge in deep learning-based vision solutions.
• Make decisions in ordering, building, and maintaining PCs and PC based GUI software.
• Configure vision systems (host PC, frame grabbers, cameras, illumination, motion control, interfaces, etc.).
• Analyze project requirements. Design, develop and test the multitasking Windows desktop applications for industrial equipment.
• Understand and interface with third party embedded controllers using their APIs.
• Optimize existing software to improve the performance and fix bugs.
• Provide technical support for the field.

Requirements

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer engineering /electronics engineering or equivalent
• Min 3 to 5 year experience in vision and developing windows applications for industrial / automation equipment using C#, WPF and .NET Framework. Able to develop rich and modern user interface.
• Experienced and good understanding on TCP/IP, RS-232, Camera interface and any of motion controller interface protocols.
• Knowledge in MODBUS, SECS/GEM and other industrial protocols is added advantage.
• Good in process mapping and software design concepts
