Job summary

CAPGEMINI SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to build and support a large-scale national trade platform in Singapore. You will contribute to design, development, and operation of highly available, secure, and scalable systems with cross-functional teams.

You will tackle complex technical challenges, own critical services, and deliver impactful outcomes while mentoring peers and collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Significant software engineering experience with enterprise-scale or high-transaction systems.
Strong fundamentals in design, testing, CI/CD, observability, and security, with cloud deployment experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and support software products and platform capabilities.
Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Lead software delivery from design to production, including testing and deployment.
Troubleshoot issues and participate in incident response and recovery activities.
Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, security, tooling, and processes.
Advocate data-driven engineering decisions and best practices.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders.
Mentor and support fellow engineers through knowledge sharing.
