Job summary

Caladan is seeking a Senior Engineer to drive a high-performance, real-time trading platform in a Linux environment. You will design, build, and maintain components for order management, market data, and routing, collaborating with traders and business development to rapidly implement new ideas.

Ideal candidates have a track record in distributed, high-throughput, low-latency systems using C# or modern C++ (>=11) and exposure to Git, CI/CD, Kafka, FIX and cloud tech.

Qualifications

• Experienced in implementing infrastructure components for high-volume, low-latency trading.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain a highly performant, highly available adaptive trading platform.
• Implement order management, compliance, exchange connectivity, market data, and routing functionality.
• Design and implement next-generation real-time trading platform.
• Operate and support the global trading system, troubleshoot and debug issues.
• Collaborate with traders and business development to implement ideas swiftly.
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional growth.
