Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
• 5+ years of software development with proficiency in Python, Java, Spring Boot, AngularJS, React, or Next.
• Proficiency in Postgres and InfluxDB.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OAuth2, and OpenId Connect.
• Expertise in CI/CD, branching, version control and testing.
• Strong Linux knowledge ( networking, scripting, debugging ).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong teamwork in an international environment and proactive attitude.
• Experience supporting pre-sale activities and customer presentations.
• Familiarity with Grafana, Airflow, Kafka and Azure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions aligned with project requirements.
• Apply Hitachi Rail software development rules, implementing coding, testing, and documentation to ensure robust applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and deliver state-of-the-art solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and act as a technical reference for internal and external partners.
• Support project and product management and create training materials for junior engineers.
