Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Software Engineer (Python | AI/ML | Cloud) to build and operate a live AI recommendation platform powering personalised jobs, courses, and learning content across public-sector digital products.

You will maintain production Python APIs and services on AWS, Docker and Kubernetes; work with SQL, Spark/PySpark, Databricks; monitor incidents, support model retraining, data refreshes and cost management; ensure security and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python backend skills.
• Experience with production APIs/services on AWS, plus Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on SQL and Spark/PySpark experience; Databricks or Airflow is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, incident management and production support.
• Understanding of application security and remediation of VAPT/security findings.
• Experience with ML/LLM production systems is advantageous.
• Able to quickly understand existing codebases and work independently.
• Experience using agentic AI coding tools.
