Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking software engineers to build and maintain features that import pass data (receipts, tickets, loyalty cards) into the Wallet. You will work on on-device classification and server extraction of data from PDFs, images, and multimodal inputs.

Collaborating with product, UX, legal, and partner teams, you will help define requirements and deliver robust integrations with external partners and device manufacturers as the product scales globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Kotlin, C++, Java).
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java,Kotlin, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own, develop, test, and maintain features for importing pass data from Gmail, Chrome or Android into the company Wallet.
• Evaluate and improve machine learning or Large Language Models (LLM) for on-device classification and server extraction of Wallet data from various file formats like PDF, Images or other multimodal input.
• Collaborate with Senior Engineers, Product Managers, UX, Technical Program Managers, Legal, and other teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Engage with external partners to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, and launch new integrations.

• Engage with external partners to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, and launch new integrations.
