Job summary

APBA TG Human Resource Pte Ltd seeks a Senior Software Engineer on a contract basis in Singapore to design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications supporting civil and structural engineering. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software that drives operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has strong backend skills (Java, Python, Node.js, or C#/.NET), experience with databases, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms, plus Git and Docker.

Qualifications

• Strong backend development with Java, Python, Node.js, or C#/.NET.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL.
• RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and Docker.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in engineering or construction industry software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack applications from front-end UI to back-end server logic.
• Collaborate with engineering and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust software.
• Architect scalable, maintainable code and establish development standards.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance functionality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, standups, retrospectives.
• Document technical specifications and maintain system docs.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices.
