Job summary

APBA TG Human Resource Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer on a contract basis to work on innovative technology solutions for civil and structural engineering applications. Based in Ang Mo Kio North-East Region, you will design, develop and maintain full-stack solutions driving operational excellence.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, translate requirements into robust software, and mentor junior developers while adopting best practice coding standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and modern frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• Strong backend skills in Java, Python, Node.js or C#/.NET.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB or MySQL.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Git and CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication and ability to work both independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive full-stack applications, from front-end user interfaces to back-end server architecture
• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to understand technical requirements and translate them into robust software solutions
• Architect scalable, maintainable code and establish best practices for development standards across projects

• Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
• Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive system documentation
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Strong expertise in back-end development using languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or C#/.NET
• Demonstrated experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL)
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerisation technologies such as Docker
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in team environments
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with engineering or construction industry software applications is advantageous
