Job summary

GovTech Singapore is the lead agency driving Singapore’s Smart Nation initiatives and public sector digital transformation. As the Centre of Excellence for Infocomm Technology and Smart Systems (ICT & SS), GovTech develops the Singapore Government’s capabilities in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Application Development, Smart City Technology, Digital Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Strong backend software engineering experience in Node.js and/or Golang.
• Deep understanding of the full SDLC from coding to CI/CD and operations.
• Curious, collaborative mind with focus on developer experience and tooling.
• Experience with open-source practices and internal tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain developer tools, libraries, and guidance to improve engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define best practices for software development and deployment.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering standards across GovTech.
