Job summary

dci consultants private limited is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work directly with agencies to develop robust systems for Weather Information Dissemination. You will partner with engineers and other stakeholders to align technical delivery with business goals and ensure system resiliency.

The role involves assessing current landscapes, identifying gaps, selecting practices like CI/CD and SRE, and creating transition roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in an individual contributor software engineering role.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with NodeJS is a plus.
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Strong track record of large-scale partner solution implementations in complex enterprise environments.
• Exceptional communication skills bridging technical discussions between internal teams and external partners.
• Experience working in highly secured and air-gapped systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with software engineers and other functions to understand objectives for development delivery efficiency and system resiliency, articulating how technical capabilities will achieve business outcomes.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing technical landscapes, workflows, and processes to identify inefficiencies and gaps.
• Collaborate with the company to identify relevant practices (e.g., CI/CD, SRE) for Core Engineering Products.
• Develop transition roadmaps from current to desired future state with tool and process adoption.
• Explain complex concepts clearly to stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations and diagrams as needed.
• Support the company with proof of concept (POC) initiatives during early implementation phases.
• Collaborate with fellow Software Engineers to exchange insights and foster continuous improvement.
