Google Senior Software Engineer for Ask Google Pay in Singapore. You will lead end-to-end development of core flows in the Flutter-based Google Pay app, focusing on performance, latency, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 3+ years testing, maintaining, or launching software products, plus 1 year in design/architecture.
• 3+ years of performance, data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
• 3+ years of full stack development across back-end codebases such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain key surfaces within the flutter-based Google Pay app, focusing on performance, UI development, and RPC integration.

Senior Software Engineer, Ask Google Pay

X Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience with performance, systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
• 3 years of experience with full stack development, across the back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience building systems that scale to millions of users globally.
• Experience working effectively with Product Manager/User Experience (PM/UX) to drive features end-to-end.
• Mobile app, full-stack or back-end development experience.
