Job summary

APBA TG HUMAN RESOURCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain native Android apps and full-stack web solutions that deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance user experiences.

You will collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure teams to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and deliver business-critical applications. The role involves RESTful APIs, cloud-based solutions, and DevOps practices across mobile and web platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience with React, Next.js, .NET, Java, or equivalent modern frameworks.
• Exposure to containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building cloud-native or hybrid apps and RESTful APIs.
• Mentoring and technical leadership experience add value.
• Certifications in software development, cloud, or DevOps are a plus.
• Android development using Kotlin/Java and Android SDK on modern patterns.
• Strong full‑stack web development with current frontend/backend frameworks.
• Security, authentication, encryption, and secure coding practices.
• Testing strategies: unit, integration, and end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications and full-stack web solutions that deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance user experiences.
• Collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure teams to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and deliver business-critical applications.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, authentication services, databases, and cloud-based solutions across mobile and web platforms.
• Ensure application reliability, security, performance, and scalability through best practices in software engineering, testing, and deployment.
• Implement and support DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring, and release management.
• Conduct code reviews, contribute to technical design decisions, and promote software development best practices.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing applications and systems to meet evolving business requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system designs, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Requirements

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and deployment automation.
• Understanding of application security, authentication protocols, encryption, and secure coding practices.
• Experience implementing testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in collaborative, Agile, or cross-functional development environments.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and contribute to solution architecture discussions.
