Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in high-throughput banking/payments with ISO 20022/SWIFT knowledge and FX lifecycle understanding.
• Strong Java & Spring Boot with a focus on concurrency and distributed systems (Kafka, RocketMQ, MySQL optimization).
• Security: OAuth2, Mutual TLS, and digital signatures, with a "compliant by design" mindset.
• AI-forward mindset: willingness to apply AI Agents to improve the SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Architect global connectivity: lead end-to-end design of high-availability integration gateways combining diverse banking protocols into a scalable global network
• Engineer resilience: drive 99.99% availability through idempotency, circuit breakers, and state machines to avoid duplicate transactions
• Innovate with AI: lead adoption of AI-powered tools and autonomous agents to accelerate development, testing, and reliability
• Security & integrity: own security handshake architecture protecting global transactions
• Technical leadership: set engineering standards, mentor juniors, and guide cross-border engineering culture
