Job description

Candidates for the position of Senior Software Engineer will focus on developing regional financial systems to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations, group financial processes, and reporting. The role involves supporting Accounting, Payroll, and Tax systems for regional users, analyzing the requirements for process automation, proposing solutions to improve the processes for regional Finance users, and coordinating and managing system providers/vendors.

Job Responsibilities

1. Design and develop Finance systems to support the needs of the business.
2. Ensure the financial logic is correctly built in systems and the calculations are accurate.
3. Ensure the systems are stable to support the regional Finance team in completing month-end closing smoothly.
4. Support Accounting and Payroll systems.
5. Gather business requirements and complete technical design and development.
6. Work closely with auditors and business units on the system audit.
7. Coordinate with vendors to solve day-to-day issues.

Minimum Requirements

1. Degree in Computer Science or related technology disciplines.
2. Good understanding of accounting knowledge.
