Senior Software Engineer

Role

1. Participate in the code review of all kinds of pull requests
2. Implementation of a sizable feature/functionality
3. Design and implementation of new features/functionalities
4. Lead the design and implementation of new features/functionalities
5. Explore new directions for our product
6. Mentor new hires and interns

Sound Like You?

1. Familiar with at least one of the following programming languages: Rust (the language we use), C/C++, Java
2. Design and implementation of database systems
3. Experience with distributed computation algorithms
4. Familiar with hardware performance characteristics
5. (Preferred) Experience developing in Rust;
6. (Preferred) Experience developing streaming systems, such as Flink, Storm, Samza, Spark Streaming, etc.
7. (Preferred) Experience developing database systems, such as CockroachDB, TiDB, ClickHouse, DuckDB, etc.
8. (Preferred) Experience developing big data systems, such as Hadoop, Spark, Presto, Hive, etc.
9. (Preferred) Experience benchmarking, profiling, optimizing, and developing performance-critical systems.
