We are currently seeking a Senior Software Developer responsible for Securities, Pre/Post Trade, and Operations development and support.

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications to ensure successful delivery of projects and change requests.
• Conduct workshops to gather client requirements and follow project/product roadmaps.
• Write Product Design and Technical Specifications, supporting Business Analysts during analysis, solution proposal, and cost estimation.
• Estimate development efforts and analyze impacts for functional stories and change requests.
• Identify project risks and plan mitigation strategies with the project manager.
• Collaborate with Project Leads, Business Analysts, and IT teams to resolve issues and ensure viable solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to offshore development teams.
• Develop medium to complex applications aligned with technical specifications.
• Perform tests (unit, integration, system) to ensure deliverables meet expectations.
• Support clients during user acceptance testing, addressing inquiries, executing batch jobs, and resolving errors.
• Adhere to Azqore Methodology and contribute to continuous improvement.

Your core competencies

• Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in banking, especially Private Banking or Wealth Management, with knowledge of Securities/Equities, Options, Forex, IRS, Corporate Actions, and Portfolio Management Systems.
• 10+ years of software development experience with COBOL, working with distributed teams across geographies.
• Knowledge of modern development methodologies including Agile and DevOps.
• Strong programming skills in developing, designing, coding, testing, and debugging.
• Ability to manage knowledge processes across the product space.
• Technical expertise in S2i Application, COBOL, DB2, GIT, GITLAB, SPLUNK, SQL, DBeaver, Eclipse; APIs & Digital Banking experience is a plus.
