Senior Software Developer (Java Develpment/ Kaki Bukit/ 5 Days/ Up to $7,500)

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and deliver high availability and performance.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code and improve the quality of the code.
• Analyze business requirements and create technical design documents that adhere to the company's architecture standards.
• Develop the code and provide hands-on engineering expertise to the development teams.
• Manage UAT User Queries and coordinate UAT Activities to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved.
• Perform unit and system testing of application code and execute implementation activities.
• Record and track defects uncovered during testing, escalate issues to project management, and update teams on impact and resolution participation; design retest cases/scripts/data.
• Review code and enhance system performance.
• Engage in performance enhancement analysis.
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of working experience in Java development.
• At least a degree in Computer Science.
• Expert-level programming skills in Java and Angular.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices architectures, with hands-on experience in developing and deploying Microservices solutions, containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience using source code management tools such as GIT and building tools like Ant, Maven, and Gradle.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in Java/J2EE technologies.
• Strong background working with Linux/UNIX environments.

Advantages:

• Experience with the Java Spring Boot framework, RESTful APIs using JAX-RS, JSON, Angular, JPA/Hibernate, Bean Validation, Google GWT, and development in Android and iOS.
