Job summary

Newtone Consulting in Singapore is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality software applications for securities and capital markets. You will translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.

You will provide technical guidance, perform estimations, and support testing and UAT within an Agile/DevOps environment, with experience in COBOL/DB2/SQL and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Computer Science or IT.
• 10+ years of software development experience with distributed delivery teams.
• Experience in a banking environment, preferably Private Banking or Wealth Management.
• Knowledge of Capital Markets, Securities, Private Banking, Wealth Management.
• Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, SQL, GIT, GitLab, Splunk, DBeaver, and Eclipse.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with APIs and Digital Banking is a plus.

Responsibilities
