Job summary

Dell Inc. in Singapore seeks a software design and development professional to work on external customer products, leveraging cloud development operations, agile methodologies, compilers, and debugging tools to deliver robust software across product lines.

You will participate in all stages of product development, from planning to documentation, embrace Built-In Quality and automated testing, and contribute to continuous integration, delivery, and testing.

Qualifications

• Experience in software design and development for external customer products.
• Familiar with agile methodologies and Scrum.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Own design, planning, configuration, documentation, deployment, and top-level support of relevant technologies.
• Apply Scrum framework and Agile philosophy to meet business requirements.
• Lead or participate in the software development lifecycle, including research, new development, modification, security, correction of errors, reuse, re-engineering, and maintenance of software products.
• Engage in Scrum events; collaborate with the team in backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, standups, and retrospectives. Delivers products within budget, schedule, and quality guidelines
• Apply principles of Built-In Quality and Quality By Design. Implement Agile Testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD) & Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices to ensure built-in quality and automation.
• Promote continuous integration, continuous delivery and continuous testing in software development processes
• Drive idea generation for new software products or the next version of an existing product
• Protect Intellectual property by working with appropriate legal elements (e.g. procurement, patents, open source)
