Job summary

Singapore Children's Society invites a Senior Social Worker to undertake a dual role combining senior clinical practice and leadership of the Youth Development & Growth portfolio. You will conduct assessments, develop interventions, manage risk, coordinate care and supervise staff, while guiding program design, partnerships with schools, and community agencies to support youth development.

This is a hands-on position that balances direct youth work with strategic portfolio leadership, reporting

Qualifications

• Degree or post-graduate diploma in social work, counselling or clinical mental health.
• Minimum six years of direct work experience with youth and families, with at least three years in youth clinical work.
• Experience designing, implementing and evaluating youth development or community programmes.
• Proven track record in leading and mentoring teams in clinical or community settings.
• Experience facilitating youth participation or co-design with youth and families is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior clinical practice including risk assessment, formulation and interventions.
• Lead the Youth Development & Growth portfolio, translating strategy into programmes and annual workplans.
• Supervise two to three portfolio staff; ensure role clarity and performance.
• Foster partnerships with schools, community organisations and stakeholders.
• Evaluate outcomes using data and feedback to continuously improve initiatives.
