Job summary

Singapore Childrens' Society seeks an experienced programme leader to drive the Bully-Free Initiative and KidzShinE, focusing on building digital resilience for children, families, and communities.

You will plan, implement and evaluate services, supervise a multidisciplinary team, and collaborate with schools, researchers and partners to advance child wellbeing in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with children (6–13) and parents in counselling, casework, programme development and group work.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Proven track record in leading and monitoring teams in community/school settings.
• Excellent community engagement and advocacy abilities with partnerships.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills for multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in assessment, intervention and case management.
• Passionate about mental health advocacy and inclusive communities.
• Empathetic, adaptable and resilient in a dynamic environment.
• Systemic and strategic thinking with drive for service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Bully-Free Initiative and KidzShinE programme to build digital resilience.
• Plan, implement and evaluate services tailored for children, families and community.
• Review service workflows to ensure accessibility and alignment with goals.
• Monitor team performance, analyse outcomes and ensure ethical compliance.
• Supervise and develop the team in programme development and stakeholder collaboration.
• Equip team with trauma-informed competencies and advocacy skills.
• Develop community and school-based services and advance advocacy efforts.
• Collaborate with research to develop evaluation tools.
• Build partnerships and referral pathways to ensure right-siting of children.
• Provide mental health check-ins and manage high-risk disclosures with guidance to HOD.
• Support agency-level work and take on other duties as assigned.

To lead the Bully-Free Initiative and KidzShinE programme, which looks at building digital resilience

• Plan, implement and evaluate services and activities tailored to the needs of children, families and community which presently includes bullying, resilience and digital resilience
• Establish and review service workflows and processes to ensure accessibility, accountability and alignment with strategic goals.
• Monitor team performance, analyse outcomes and ensure compliance with ethical, legal and organisational standards
• Supervise and develop the team in programme development, group work facilitation skills, stakeholder collaboration and evaluation.
• Equip team members with competencies to deliver trauma-informed work.
• Develop community and school-based serves and advance advocacy efforts
• Work closely with research department to develop/refine evaluation tools for programme
• Build community partnership and referral pathways internally and/or externally to ensure that children are right-sited
• Provide mental health check-in
• To provide support to the team in managing high risk situations, when harm is disclosed
• To support HOD in agency level work
• Any other tasks assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work/Counselling/Psychology or in related discipline or Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work.
• At least 5 years of experience working with children (6-13 years old), parents in counselling, casework, programme development and group work.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience
• Proven track record in leading and monitoring teams in community/school based settings and mentoring teams in clinical or community-based settings.
