Job summary

VaultX seeks a Senior Smart Contract Engineer — RWA to own the contract boundary for asset issuance, controlled transfers, settlement, treasury movement and governed protocol change.

You will implement issuance, transfer-policy, settlement and emergency-control modules with invariant tests, and define deployment/runbooks with security ownership. Remote and Singapore overlap, full-time or contract-to-hire.

Qualifications

• Deep Solidity 0.8.x and EVM expertise.
• Proven track record in secure contract design and audits.
• Experience with fuzzing and invariant testing in Solidity.

Responsibilities

01 / MANDATE

Turn the VaultX protocol direction into a compact contract suite whose permissions, invariants and operational controls can withstand independent review.

VAULTX SYSTEM CONTEXT

VaultX requires asset registries, eligibility-aware movement, distribution records and deliberate administrative controls. This role keeps the on-chain surface narrow, testable and aligned with the off-chain operating model.

Review the VaultX product boundary

Produce a reviewed contract map covering roles, trust assumptions and upgrade boundaries.

• 02 Implement issuance, transfer-policy, settlement and emergency-control modules with invariant tests.
• 03 Define deployment, verification and privileged-action runbooks with the security owner.
• 04 Prepare an assurance package covering limitations, test evidence and remediation status.

03 / YOU WILL OWN

Accountable scope

• Design Solidity modules with established OpenZeppelin patterns.
• Model role separation, multisig authority, pause paths and timelocked changes.
• Write unit, integration, fuzz and invariant tests before release decisions.
• Review external contract contributions and document consequential tradeoffs.
• Partner with backend and frontend owners on transaction and recovery state.

Experience that travels well

• Deep Solidity 0.8.x and EVM execution knowledge.
• Strong Foundry experience, including fuzz and invariant testing.
• Evidence of secure access-control, treasury or token-system delivery.
• Comfort rejecting unnecessary on-chain complexity.
• Clear technical writing and asynchronous review habits.
