Vita Singapore is currently searching for an experienced Senior Site Supervisor - Mechanical & Building Services to join the Project Management & Construction team responsible for the build and delivery of a range of projects.

Since the 2000s, the project construction management business has worked on over 200 projects in Asia-Pacific for more than 100 blue-chip life sciences and pharmaceutical companies, with many repeat clients.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
Responsibilities:
• Prepare drawings detailing the system designed
• Support senior engineer and/or senior designer in the on-going plans of project scheduling requirements, manpower requirements and project budgets
• Perform construction administration and field investigation tasks for pharmaceutical project(s) including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports
• Processing RFI's and change orders
• Prepare and document Energy compliance calculations and forms
• Select equipment and fixtures for use in the building
• Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines and architects
• Ensure that all construction contractors’ supervision and manpower are instructed and comply with all aspects of MOM Workplace Safety policy, site regulations, permit to work procedures and instructions and Client requirements
• Ensure that construction contractors work within the discipline adhere strictly to the latest Approved for Construction (AFC) project drawings, Specifications, ITP’s, Procedures and Site Instructions
• Responsible for the HSES, quality aspects of work within assigned areas and ensure construction contractors complete their work in accordance with project schedule
Requirements:
• Diploma / Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• At least 7-10 years of related experience
• Experience in a similar role in building/ refinery/ petrochemical/ process / pharmaceutical plant construction would be a distinct advantage
• Previous experience in a similar role within Petrochem/O&G/ Process/ Pharmaceutical industry
• Possess extensive pipefitting HVAC experience, Clean and black utilities, Piping / equipment installation, Hook-ups, Fire protection and Underground services
• Proficiency with HVAC load and energy calculations
• Demonstrate an ability to supervise a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
