Job summary

F5 Networks Singapore PTE LTD is seeking an experienced SRE/Platform Engineer to design, build and operate the F5 Cloud Platform. You will monitor production, drive reliability, and mentor teammates while collaborating with SREs, developers and QA to improve services.

The role requires 5+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong Linux, Python or Go, Kubernetes, DNS and cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP). Hybrid work model, competitive pay and benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an SRE/Platform Engineering/DevOps role.
• Proven experience designing, building, and managing distributed, highly available systems.
• Strong Linux and scripting/automation fundamentals.
• Experience with cloud platforms and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Manage production environment by monitoring availability and alerts, remediating issues.
• Design and deliver infrastructure solutions for platform components.
• Investigate technologies and build scalable, highly available systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across teams.
• Owns platform software components to meet performance and scalability requirements.
• Write clean code in Python or Golang for microservices and tooling.
• Develop IaC pipelines using Terraform, Helm for provisioning and orchestration.
• Remediate security vulnerabilities and participate in on-call rotation.
• Architect and maintain cloud platform services for consistency and reliability.
• Collaborate with SREs, developers, and QA to adopt platform tools.
• Create self-service interfaces and docs for developers to deploy and monitor apps.
