Job summary

Visa is seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to enhance release management, CI-CD operations, infrastructure stability, and lifecycle maintenance across dev, staging, and prod. You will automate deployments, collaborate with platform teams, and ensure security and availability in cloud and on‑prem environments.

The role emphasizes Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation, Docker/Kubernetes, and scripting in Python or Bash to optimize pipelines and reliability. Three days in the office are expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent with advanced degrees.
• Strong knowledge of CI-CD, IaC, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, and container platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end release management and production deployments.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI-CD pipelines for automation.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and deployment blockers.
• Collaborate with development teams to reduce release risk.
• Manage AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure and on-prem components.
• Provision and manage infrastructure with IaC tools and automation.
• Support Docker and Kubernetes-based services and runtimes.
