Job summary

Xavier Construction Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to manage daily site activity, coordinate with workers, subcontractors and the project team, and ensure works align with drawings, specifications and schedules.

The role requires a minimum I-Level or equivalent qualification and 10–15 years of site experience, with strong on-site supervision, safety awareness and the ability to work independently at project sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum I-Level / equivalent qualification.
• 10-15 years of relevant construction/site experience.
• Strong experience in site coordination and supervision.
• Able to coordinate with workers, subcontractors and project teams.
• Able to monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out according to requirements.
• Good understanding of site safety and construction procedures.
• Must be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in hot and humid weather conditions.
• Willing to work primarily at project sites.
• Responsible, independent and able to handle site matters effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activity
• Monitor work progress, manpower and site requirements
• Coordinate with supervisors, workers, subcontractors and relevant parties
• Ensure works are completed according to drawings, specifications and schedule
• Ensure proper safety practices are followed on site
• Report site progress and issues to management
• Assist with inspections, documentation and other site-related activities
