Job summary

Woh Hup invites applications for a Senior Site Engineer to assist the Deputy/Project Manager in monitoring site works and manpower on marine infrastructure projects. The role requires coordination with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Candidates should have a Civil Engineering degree and at least 6 years of experience, preferably with seawall/coastal revetment exposure. Safety adherence is essential for ongoing site operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
• Minimum 6 years of experience, preferably in marine infrastructure project.
• Experience in seawall and coastal revetment works is an advantage.
• Completed at least 1 full cycle of marine infrastructure project.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review master construction program and prepare catch-up programs.
• Supervise engineers/foremen and ensure quality procedures and workmanship.
• Prepare detailed programs for the site team to follow and complete on time.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies and technical difficulties with the technical team.
• Prepare detailed method statements and work instructions for construction.
• Coordinate between subcontractors/vendors and monitor site manpower/material/equipment demands.
• Liaise with consultants on submissions related to structural works and technical department.
• Plan all works on site, including schedules, construction methods, equipment and material forecasting, and control wastage.
