Job summary

GREAT RESOURCES M & E CONTRACTOR PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Civil Engineer to assist the project manager with on-site and off-site meetings regarding technical issues, while coordinating construction activities.

The role includes submitting architectural samples, shop drawings and related documents to consultants or authorities, supervising progress, and coordinating with subcontractors, RE and RTO to ensure timely completion of the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering projects.
• Ability to work independently with limited guidance and be a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager with on- and off-site meetings related to technical issues.
• Submit architectural samples, shop drawings and related documents to consultants or authorities.
• Coordinate and monitor site progress, conduct periodic site inspections and attend meetings during construction.
• Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and ensure progress aligns with the work schedule.
• Supervise site activities and coordinate with subcontractors, resident engineer (RE) and resident technical officer (RTO).

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager with on and off site meeting pertaining to the technical issues


• Responsible for submission of Architectural samples, shops drawing and other related documents to the consultants or authorities


• Coordinate and monitor work progress at site including periodical site inspection and attending meetings during course of construction of project


• Proven problem solving and achievements work progress according to the work schedule


• Site supervision and able to coordinate well with sub-contractors, RE and RTO

Requirements

• Candidate must at least a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent


• Min 5 year relevant experience in the related field for this position


• Be able to work independently with minimum guidance


• Good team player, keen desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company
