Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is looking for a Civil Engineer to oversee construction activities and ensure quality standards are met. You will manage technical issues, liaise with professionals, and supervise site activities. The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree and at least 3 years of experience in similar projects. Flexibility to work 6 days a week is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction.
• Experience in managing D/wall, Borepiling, and Tunneling Projects.
• Ability to oversee technical works and liaise with professionals.

Job description

Main Duties:

• Oversee the construction activities and progress, plan, implement and monitor work

• Schedule in accordance to the master and detailed work program

• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works

• Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors

• Handle of technical and engineering problems

• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule,

• Maintain quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time

• Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary

• Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safer and neat

• Supervise ongoing site activities closely

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in LTA projects

• Experience in managing D/wall and Borepiling and Tunneling Projects

• Open to 6D week, 7.30am-6pm
